This notice explains what happens to information when you use this website, which is operated by M&M Auto Sales (Sylacauga) and its affiliated companies, 34626 US Hwy 280, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150 (“we”, “us”, “our”). It is written to match exactly what the site does, which is very little. It does not cover what happens when you visit one of our lots, call us, or sign paperwork with us; those are covered by the notices you receive at that time.
Summary

Every form on it hands you to a separate secure form run by our dealer-management provider; nothing you type on this site is sent anywhere.
1. Information we do not collect on this website
This website does not ask for and cannot store your name, telephone number, email address, postal address, Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license number, income, employment, bank or card numbers or any other personal or financial information. It does not use cookies, web beacons, pixels, device fingerprinting, session recording or location services. It does not sell, rent, share or disclose personal information to data brokers, advertisers or anyone else, and it does not use personal information for targeted advertising or profiling.
2. Buttons that open our secure forms
The “Apply”, “Quick application”, “Trade-in”, “Check availability”, “Vehicle finder” and “Contact” buttons open a separate, encrypted form hosted for us by our dealer-management and financing provider. Anything you type on this site before you click stays in your browser and is discarded when you leave the page; it is not sent to us or to anyone. Information you enter on the provider’s form is received by M&M Auto Sales (Sylacauga) and its affiliated companies and by that provider under the privacy policy linked on the form itself. We use it only for the purpose you sent it: to answer you, to arrange financing you asked for, to appraise your trade and to complete a sale, and we keep it only as long as the law and our lender agreements require. Credit applications are shared with the lenders we submit them to, as the application itself explains.
3. Saved and recently viewed cars
The heart icon and the “recently viewed” list use your browser’s local storage, on your device only. We never receive that information. Clearing your browser data removes it.
4. What our service providers see automatically
Like every website, this one is delivered by servers that see your device’s IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. Our hosting provider keeps those standard server logs for a short period for security and abuse prevention under its own policy. Vehicle photos may load from our inventory provider’s image servers, which likewise see your IP address when a photo is requested. The map on the contact page is an embedded Google Map; when it loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect usage data under the Google Privacy Policy; if you do not want that, do not open the contact page map or block third-party cookies in your browser. We do not receive any of this data in identifiable form.
5. Calls and texts
If you call or text us from a link on this site, you start the conversation and we use your number only to answer you and help with your purchase. We do not send automated marketing texts because you called or texted; any marketing texts require your separate, express consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Carrier message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text from us to end texts and HELP for help.
6. Children
This website is for adults shopping for vehicles. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information through one of our forms, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and opt-outs
Because this site does not track visitors or sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of. Browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals do not change how the site behaves, since it already behaves as if they were on. There is no “Do Not Sell or Share” choice to make because no sale or sharing occurs.
8. Your rights
You can use this entire website without giving us any personal information. If you have sent us information through our forms, by phone or in person, you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where the law allows, and ask for a copy in a portable form. We will verify that you are the person concerned before acting, respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days), and will never deny you service, charge you a different price or treat you differently for exercising a right. If we decline a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal. Residents of states with consumer-privacy laws (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and others) have these rights as provided by their state’s law, and we honor them regardless of where you live.
9. Where data is processed and how it is protected
This website and our dealer systems are hosted in the United States. The site is served only over HTTPS with strict security headers, loads no third-party scripts and holds no customer data that could be lost or breached. Our provider’s forms are encrypted in transit and at rest under that provider’s security program. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information once it leaves this site.
10. Links to other websites
This site links to our provider’s forms, to Google Maps and to other websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; read their notices before you give them information.
11. Changes to this notice
If we ever add a feature that collects information, we will update this notice first, change the effective date above and, where the law requires, ask for your consent. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated notice.
